Ida White Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 102, Ida White of Garland, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ida White to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emmit White; her son Walter White; her parents, Emma Louise (Calton) and Hulen Parker; and her siblings, Francis Parker, Lee Etta Parker, Elvis Parker and Hulen Parker, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Milo (Keith) and Emmit White, Jr. (Von); her daughter-in-law Shelia White; her grandchildren, Gabby Milo, Sophia Milo, Keith Milo, Jr., Belinda Kendrick, Alice Bryant, Mitchell White and Anthony White; her siblings, Lucinda Mae Parker, Thelma Rae Parker, Emma Jean Parker and Larry Parker; and her close friend Joann Powdrill. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke AME Church (521 W Ave E, Garland, TX 75040). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Lincoln Memorial Park - Dallas (8100 Fireside Dr, Dallas, TX 75217).
In lieu of flowers, in Ida's honor, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
