He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bailey Strange and Louise Strange (Blankenship); his sister Elvina Grantling; his daughter Jessica Faye Woodberry; and his grandson Jay Edward Woodberry III.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Strange; his children, Jay Edward Woodberry, Janyne Renee Davis (Brian) and Cashonda Wilkinson; and his grandchildren, Philip Dwayne Crow, Philisha Laray Wilson, Christina CaNise Pettie, Tiera Janiese Briggs, Calvin Christopher Pettie, Jr., Camen Woodberry, Carmen Woodberry, Camryn Woodberry, Mason Davis and Trinity Sky Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
