He is survived by: his son Jerry McCoy Johnson, Jr.; his stepchildren, Kendrick McCoy and Chiquita McCoy; and his siblings, Larry Johnson, Kathleen Johnson, Cecelia Jones, Iva Johnson and Bettie Appiah (Benjamin). He is also survived by grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
