He is survived by: his children, Gary Hempling, Shawn Hempling (Jana) and Taylor Brown; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Lilly Sims and Sherri Lilly; and his brothers, Reid Miller (Pauline), Randall Hempling (Barbara), Carlos, Marco and Gino Sametini. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
