Marlene Harris Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Marlene Harris of Garland, Texas. Marlene, born on April 7, 1938, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Nance and Wynogene Nance; her husband Bill Harris; her sister Sara Jo Fox; and her son-in-law Jack Starns.
She is survived by: her sister Carol Black; her children, LeAnn Starns and Mitch Harris (Amanda); her grandchildren, Lucas Harris (Marley), Zachary Starns (Lindsay) and Holly Harris; and her great grandchildren, Bella, Josie Harris, Camdyn De La Fuente and Jackson Starns.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eastgate Funeral Home (12973 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy, Garland, TX 75041). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
