He is survived by: his children, Melvin Glaspie, Ladarris Johnson, Michloas Love, DeJuan Redwood (Shanna) and Emerald Stephens; his grandchildren, Melvin Jr., Ashante Glaspie, Aaliyah, Darris, Meloh, Mykoh, Nyloh, Zyloh Johnson, Michloas Jr., Dehania, Octavia Love, Janai Thomas, Aria and Jasai Stephens; his great grandchild Amari Glaspie; his siblings, Helen Wright-Carter (Willie), Rickey Wright (Mary) and James Johnson (Sandra); his sisters-in-law, Wanda Wright and Anita Wright; and his uncle Curtis Clark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
