It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Alan Watkins of Garland, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Franklin Watkins and Geraldine Marie Watkins; and his sister Jerry Lynn Watkins. He is survived by : his wife Lanelle Watkins; his sons, Michael Todd Watkins (Janie) and Russell Alan Watkins (Dawn); his grandchildren, Kylie Elizabeth Garretson, Finley Marie Watkins, Tyler Alan Watkins and Sawyer Evelyn Watkins; his brother Scott David Watkins (Regina); his nieces and nephews, Kendall Regan Ogle (Alex) and Tressa Ashton Thurman (Blake); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ayres Mason Thurman, Maddox Lane Thurman, Kynsleigh Grace Thurman and Blakeleigh Tate Thurman.
