She was predeceased by : her parents, Byron Moses Moore (Esteene) and Reta Hautense (Moore); her husband John R. Hamlett; and her brother Jimmy Poteet. She is survived by : her children, Linda Hermann (John) of Garland, Dawn Evans (Mark) of San Antonio, John Hamlett (Ashley) of Spring and Moses Hamlett of Richardson; her grandchildren, Ashley Poteet (Sam Grossenbacher) of Hallsville, Amy Hermann of Garland, Thomas Hermann of Garland, Madison Hamlett of Spring, David Hamlett of Houston and Andrew Hamlett of Spring; and her siblings, Byron Moore (Judy) of Tyler, Mark Moore of Grapeland and Rebecca Moore of San Antonio. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home (700 E Houston Ave, Crockett, TX 75835). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
