He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Meredith Pool and Joyce Earlene; and his sister Dorene Sue. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jane Schulze; his siblings, James Pool and Sylvia Norton; his brother-in-law Edward Louden Norton IV; his siblings' children, Meredith Elise Norton and Edward Louden Norton V.; and his brother-in-law Floyd Schulze.
