She is survived by: her children, William Mears (Peggy) of Prosper, Carolyn Selman of Canton and Dovie Pepsis (Bill) of Brookings; and her brother Robert Merritt of Colmesneil. She is also survived by three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
