She is survived by: her husband Ceaser Alexander Hancock; her children, Dana L. Smith and Cameron Hancock (Kendra); her goddaughter Theresa Jackson; her grandchildren, Ross Evan Jennings, Sydney Henderson, Carter Alexander Jennings, John Henderson, Megan Magdelena Maria Davidson, James Jacob Davidson, Chaz Alexandra Hancock and Skylar Henderson; her sister Betty Frederick; her aunt Lizzie Earvin; her nieces, Lisa Williams (Ezra Sr.), Kimberly of Washington, Jasmine Cunningham and Cherrelle Cunnigham; her cousins, Pearl Adams and Ruth Daniels; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Eaves (Robert) and Cecil-Marie Otey.
In lieu of flowers, all are encouraged to do unexpected and unsolicited acts of kindness for some poor, unfortunate, or elderly soul in her honor.
