He was predeceased by: his parents, Annice Brown and James Charles Knight; and his sister Pamela Knight Walker. He is survived by: his wife Vera Knight of Gary; his son James Rodney Knight (Nikkol) of Bossier City, LA; his brother-in-law Johnny Walker of Nacogdoches; his nephew Blake Walker; and his grandchildren, Colby and Mackensie Knight.
