He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henderson Craft and Mattie Lewis Craft; his siblings, Callie Sibert, Marietta Wilson, Louise James, Lorraine Craft, Cecil Craft, Tom Craft and Johnny Craft; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Whiddon, Royce Whiddon (Man), Doris Swanzy, Retha Whiddon, Sonny Swanzy, David Vickery, Roy Sibert, Bruce James and Junior Wilson; his great great grandchild Ryder Tanner; and his great grandchild Gentry Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Whiddon; his children, Marty Craft (Marla), Yvonne Murray (Gerald), Phyllis Ritter (Michael) and Angelia Odom; his grandchildren, Holly Baker, Phillip, Claire Craft Hiatt, Jake, Matt Ritter, Cayla, Caroline Craft Brandon, Eric, Chelsea Ritter Murphy, Brittany Odom, Landon Odom, Aaron Murray, Brooke Murray Smyre and Johnathan; his great grandchildren, Colby Baker, Haley, Hailey Baker Tanner, Dalton and Trinity Baker; his great great grandchildren, Azalea, Sawyer, Sybil Tanner and Olivia Baker; his sisters, Ann Craft Bowling (Billy), Sharon Craft Loomis and DJ; and his sisters-in-law, Elsie Craft, Linda Vickery, Brenda Sears (Robert) and Yvonne Whiddon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633).
