It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Francis Austin of Gatesville, Texas, who passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Leroy Austin and Grace Catherine O'Brien; his siblings, Walter Austin, Jr. and Judy Mothes; his daughter Jennifer Marie Austin; and his wife Billye Hustmyer Austin.
He is survived by: his children, Sheri Taylor, Duane Ronald See, Donald L. Perry (Theresa) and Penelope Hutchison (Kenny); and his sisters, Janice Warner, Winifred Watson, Betty Warner (Dan) and Beverly Austin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grand child, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
