It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Smith of Gatesville, Texas, born in Fairfield, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert H. Smith; and his brother Robert Allen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Karen Smith; his son Harrison Zane Smith; his sisters, Connie Rice (Joe), Helen Kay Hardy (Carol) and Mary Lou Millican (Trevor); his sisters-in-law, Jeannie Smith and Judy Chopelas (Clarence); his friends, Mark, Jade-Ann Kelley, Torrey and Shelly Boyd; Kozy, Stone, Josie and Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to a scholarship fund, that will be established in Thomas' name with the Texas Hereford Association Foundation, 4609 Airport Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76117.
