He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Leslie King and Jean Lois Humphreys; and his former wife Charlotte Anne King. He is survived by: his wife Elaine King; his children, Carl King (Liz) of Corpus Christi, Andrew King (Katie) of Rosenberg, Texas, Jennifer Harris (Jim) of Orem, Sherry Iverson (Chad) of Draper and Julie Black (Joshua) of Cedar Hills, Utah; and his siblings, Chris Auger (James), Linda Jean King, MIchael Owen King (Jody) and Jerry William King. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Galloway & Sons Chapel (506 San Marcos St, George West, TX 78022). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
