It is with sadness that the passing of Ruby Frances Pugh of George West, Texas is shared. Ruby, born on December 7, 1942 in Three Rivers, Texas, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Heinen and Irma Heinen (Braune); her husband Jim C. Pugh; her siblings, Jean Buehring, Joyce Liska, Mabel Kotara, Helen Guynes and Johnnie Heinen; and her grandsons, Jason Dale Pugh and Hunter James Emerson.
She is survived by: her children, James G. Pugh of Sinton, Sam Pugh (Tammy) of Sugar Land, Julie Kaase (Tony) of George West and Bridget Emerson (Travis) of George West; her grandchildren, Dalton Wytovak, Savannah Pugh, Mason Pugh, Michael Byler, James Franklin, Ryan Kaase, Jacob Kaase (Kailie), David Kaase (Raynie), Travis W. Emerson, Elizabeth Emerson (Laney), Ashlyn Pugh, Gracie Pugh, James E. Pugh and Maurio Edwards-Pugh; her great grandchildren, Ryder and Parker Kaase; and her sisters, Dora White of New Braunfels and Mary Jane Heinen of New Braunfels.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Galloway & Sons Chapel (506 San Marcos St, George West, TX 78022). A rosary was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Galloway & Sons Funeral Home - George West (506 San Marcos St, George West, TX 78022). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Catholic Church (304 Crockett St, George West, TX 78022).
