She is survived by: her children, Tom Dershem (Susan), April Schultz (Tracy), Michelle Coburn (Mark), Dan Dershem (Vicki), Mike Dershem (Katy) and Mandy Salensky (Jason); her grandchildren, Stephanie Schuler (Derrick), Stacy Molnar (Matt), Danielle Fuhrmann (Casey), Jason Schultz (Judy), Jordan Schultz (Katie), Jacob Schultz (Lindsay), Casey Stippick (Joe), Kaylee Torres (Edreich), Cody Coburn (Karina), Danielle Dershem, Garrison Dershem, Drake Dershem, Michael Jr. Dershem (Ashley), Malachi Dershem (Ashley), D'Artagnan Dershem, Anollia Dershem, Jaden Incorvia (Nick) and Mikaila Salensky; her siblings-in-law, Bob Dershem (Betty) and Helen Dershem; and her friend Glenn Humphres.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorials be given in Kay's name to the charity of the donor's choice.
