He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenora Haag Steger and Lloyd Ousley Steger; his sister Gayle Cokendolpher; and his sister-in-law Nell Steger. He is survived by: his wife Jodie Magness Steger; his children, Perry Charles Steger (Mary) of Georgetown and Holly Stevens (P. J.) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hayes (Patrick) of Austin, Benjamin Steger (Corinne) of Austin, Charles Austin Stevens (Maddy) of Austin and Eliza McCanles (Brady) of Dallas; his great grandchildren, Bennett Hayes, Caroline Hayes, Quinn Steger and Kelly Steger; his brother Lloyd Steger of Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Rita and Dan Hull of Austin.
