She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Ann Spears (McMillian) and Omen Casper Walker; her stepfather Donald Claude Richards; and her former husband Gregory McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Lee Blatz Jr.; her son Dustin Wayne Walker; her siblings, Robin Ann Eissler and John Alan Walker; and her pets, Duke, Louie and Billy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren; and her cherished animal companions.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Christopher House in Austin, Texas, in honor of Cheryl's lifelong commitment to caring for others.
