“Chris was a very good friend to me. I was blessed to get to know him very well working for him for nearly 7 years. He shared a lot with me because he trusted me. We talked about work, life, and family. He could be crusty and funny but he could also be the kindest and most generous person as well. He was always game for an adventure and could be quite spontaneous when adventure called. He was the best dad to his three kids. I never saw a man more involved in his kid's lives. He would drop anything for them at any given moment. He was a very good man and a very good friend and his life made an impact in mine. Rest in peace, Chris. Wish you could have had more time here. I know you had a lot more you wanted to do. I'm going to really miss you. With love to Chris and condolences to the family, Lisa Carver”
