He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Ritchie and Zelpha Ritchie (Garrison); and his brothers, Larry and Jim Ritchie. He is survived by: his brothers, Fred Ritchie (Peg) of Cedar Falls, Ronald Ritchie (Barbara) of Robins, IA and Scott Ritchie (Dianne) of Wichita, KS; his sister-in-law Barbara Anne Ritchie of Cedar Falls; his nieces and nephews, Thomas, Andrew, Daniel, Matthew, Joshua Ritchie, Gwen Dougherty, Sarah Schmidt, Emily Ritchie and Tammy Morgan; his close friend Beth Egan; Amber, Aimee Egan, Briana, Jeffery Brittain and Conner Hubbard. He is also survived by nineteen great nieces and nephews.
The family will direct memorials to the American Heart Association and the Georgetown Animal Shelter.
