He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Eldridge Lester and Lucy Rebekah Whatley Lester (Whatley); his stepmother Elah Mae Lester (Griffin); and his brother Michael Bruce Lester. He is survived by: his wife Justine'Kelly'Lester; his sister Sandra Singleton-Turner; his children, Newlin, Jeffrey Lester (Amber) and Wendi Lester Efflandt (Scott); and his grandchildren, Jude, Olivia (Aaron), Jack, Aidan and Mason.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ramsely Funeral Home (5600 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78633).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bud's memory to Rocky Mountain Conservancy (rmconservancy.org) or ForJust1.org, or your favorite charity.
