He was predeceased by: his parents, Young Burt Olive and Lillian Broadwell Olive; his son Mark Everett Olive; his spouse Jean Arceneaux Olive; and his siblings, Young Burt Olive Jr, Stewart Broadwell Olive, Jack Harold Olive and Mary Josephine Olive Hazlitt.

He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Cecile Ballou; his grandchildren, Cecilia Michelle Ballou and Michael Mark Ballou; and his great grandchildren, Octavia Mae Lewis and Piper Marie Lewis.
