She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Jeffery Fischer and Ouida May Hefner; her sisters, Irene and Margie; her son Roger Kelley Wood (Sheri Wood); her grandchildren, Ashley Wood Silva (Michael Silva), Andrew Wood (Dawn Wood), Bonnie Norman (Jonathan Scott) and Cooper Wood; her great grandchildren, Hayley Silva, Morgan Norman-Scott, Miles Norman-Scott and Gideon Norman-Scott; her husband Bentley Telford Wood; and her son Jeffery Kevin Wood.
Throughout her battle with Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia, she kept her wonderful sense of humor, and remained clever and sassy all while showing compassion and kindness to those around her. She had uncanny coping skills as she traveled through the Alzheimer's journey and was able to maintain her communication skills into her last week.
