He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Kunz; his parents, Louise Maurer Kunz and Theodore Kunz; and his siblings, Carolyn Kunz Richbourg and Andrew Kunz.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Russell (Drew) of Round Rock, Courtney Campbell, Samantha Homer, Alex Keeler, Herbert Kunz, Jr. (Pamela) of Tiki Island and Stacy Jaynes (Jason) of Lucas; and his siblings, Sidney Kunz, Marian Strackbein, Vera Grona and Vernon Kunz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Herbert's honor to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
