He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence Stewart and Eula Keeney; and his siblings, Patricia Reese, Mary Jones, Hazel Kruger, Elois Thornblom and Glen Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Dehnert Stoeckelmann; his children, Bryan Stewart (Mary), Cynthia Alsup (Mike) and Mary Elizabeth Trevino (Pedro); his stepchildren, Christen Stoeckelmann, Elke Stoeckelmann and Brett Stoeckelmann (Chelsy Covington); his grandchildren, Amada Hartwick (Jeff), Alicia Allen, Matthew Reichert, Audrey Wood and Katie Dickens (Chester); his stepgrandsons, Liam and George Stoeckelmann; his great grandchildren, Sydney, Estella, Preston Hartwick, Jack and Case Dickens; his sisters, Amy Barfell and Clairice Whitton; and his pet Sassy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Sun City, Social Center Ball Room, #2 Texas Drive, Building A, Georgetown, Texas 78633 on April 4, 2026, between 2 and 4 p. m.
