He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew James Chambers and Faye Matthews Chambers; his brother Bubba Chambers; his sister-in-law JoAnn; his brother Bobby Chambers; his sister-in-law Collene Pool; and his daughter-in-law Jane Chambers (Donald Arbuckle).
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Jean, James Richard, Tina Lane and Paul Justin; his wife Gayla Long; his sister Patricia Bridges (Murray); his siblings-in-law, Dan Pool, Garth Long and Karen Long; his grandchildren, Raesha Barfuss (Kyle), Jamie Zivley and Hunter Chambers (Charley Ryder); and his great grandchild Brandon James Barfuss. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home (15709 Ranch Rd, Austin, TX 78717). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Georgetown Ioof City Cemetery (1117 E 7th St, Georgetown, TX 78626).
