He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud DeDear and Florence Lee DeDear. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Jean Johnson of Atlanta and Debra; his son-in-law Henry Ray of Georgetown; his daughter Pattye; and his son-in-law Mark Hagens of Shiner. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
