With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoLynn Long (Georgetown, Texas), born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 78. As we bid adieu to JoLynn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration JoLynn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Shannon Lear Martin; her husband Jack Long; and her brother Bob Alford. She is survived by: her son-in-law Mitch Martin; her granddaughter Avery Martin; her stepsons, Travis Long and Jack "Duece" Long; and her sister-in-law Maura Alford. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She actively supported his environmental and humanitarian efforts through the Windstar Foundation, serving on its board of directors.
