He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis DeRossi and Elli Vernadakis; and his brothers, John and Nick DeRossi. He is survived by: his sons, Louis, Jim (Kristen) and Alex (Mara); his wife Koula (Maurakis); his grandchildren, Samantha (Jonathan Selby), Alex, Leslie and Troy; and his sister Georgette Laios. He is also survived by his family and his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joseph's name to the Alzheimer's Association or Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
