He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Kirby Funderburgh and Lydia Mae Moore; and his brothers, Kirby, Billy and Bobby Funderburgh.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Funderburgh; his children, Kevynn Keane, Kyle Funderburgh, Klayton Funderburgh and Kristen Calvert; and his siblings, Don Funderburgh and Martha Ann Backstrom. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
