He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Lynnae Kucera (Joe), Jamie Buis (Jordan) and TJ Grounds (Mandi); his grandchildren, Caleb, Alyssa, Brooks, Case, Lily, Serena, Elijah, Kaelob, Kaylee and Scarlett; his brother Larry Kennedy (Karan); his nephews, Patrick Kennedy and Brian Kennedy (Christina); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Avery and Leighton; and his in-laws, Judy, Joe Regitz, Patti and Tony Trumps.

“Brenda…So sorry to learn of Kerry’s passing. As you may remember, our paths crossed many times throughout our lives. We grew up on the same street,. We were both in the McCallum HS Band, earned accounting degrees from UT Austin, were auditors at Peat Marwick, and were CFO’s at different MBanks.. Unfortunately, we worked in separate cities and our paths crossed for only a brief time in San Antonio. I had a lot of respect for Kerry, you and the rest of his family. God bless you all.”
