He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Zamot and Encarnacion Quijano Zamot; his sister Luz E. Zamot; and his significant other Mildred Lopez. He is survived by: his daughters, Surei C. Scanlon and Marisa C. Freo; his sons-in-law, Kerry Scanlon and Stephen Freo; his grandchildren, Jacinda Knightner, Randy Knightner, Christine Scanlon, Savannah Freo, Sydney Freo, Sierra Freo and Elijah Freo; and his sister Carmen H. Zamot.
