He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Doraeen Vic Owen; his parents-in-law, Bobby and Ruth Hough; and his siblings-in-law, Bud, Margie, Vicki and Matt M..

He is survived by: his wife Linda Hough of Georgetown; his siblings, Billie Jones of McKinney and Burley Owen of Lubbock; his sister-in-law Trish McKenna; his nieces and nephews, Jarod Owen and Jennifer Thompson (Michael); and his grandchildren, Corwin T, Owen T., Gavin T. and Aishellyn T.. He is also survived by other family members, nieces and nephews.
