He is survived by: his wife Sylvia of Georgetown; his son Robert "Bob" Austin Marshall Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sarah Marshall of Omaha, Nebraska; his daughter Ruth Elizabeth; his son-in-law John McEntire of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Jay, Emily McEntire and Robert "Trip" Austin Marshall III; his siblings-in-law, Candy Wadsworth, John Wadsworth and Cindy Garcia (Carlos); and his nieces and nephews, Stacy Faison, John Wadsworth (Danielle), Ali Faison, Heath Wadsworth (Devon), Joy Wadsworth (Eric), Marcus Wells and Justin Wells.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.
