As we bid Rodney farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rodney is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his son Ken; and his brother John (Jane). He is survived by: his wife Jane; his siblings, Frankie Ramey, Selinda Miller and Robert Montgomery; his son Montgomery; and his grandson Dustin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home (5600 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78633). A reception was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hall of Ramsey Funeral Home (5600 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78633).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any charitable donations be made in Rodney's name to the Tunnel To Towers Foundation (T2T.org), Wounded Warrior Project, or any small-town Volunteer Fire Department.
