He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Myron Nicholson and Martha Louise Nicholson (Bagby); and his sister Nancy Sue Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Diane Summers; his children, David (Lisa), Daniel (Robin) and Elizabeth Soutar (Larry); his grandchildren, David Matthew Nicholson (Abbey), Kelsea Nicholson, Kevin Nicholson, Corinne Soutar (Pradeep Kumar), Erin Soutar, Samantha Lightsey (James), John Klein and Eric Rescoe; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Reagan, Amelia Nicholson and Arthur Roy Lightsey; and his sisters, Mary Ann DeLong (Charles) and Martha Kay Nicholson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
