He was predeceased by: his parents, Esteban Guajardo and Aurora Melendez Guajardo; his wife Augustina Basulto Guajardo; his daughter Tina Guajardo Blain; and his siblings, Lola Garcia, Helen Vera, Louisa Hernandez, Jesse, Joe, Aaron and Eliseo Guajardo.

He is survived by: his children, Margaret (Kevin McLellan) and Steven Guajardo III; and his granddaughters, Stephanie (Darren Albrecht) and Alexandra McLellan.
