He was predeceased by: his parents, Hettie Goertz (Bartsch) and Rudolph W. Goertz; his brother Rev. Msgr; and also Hettie Bartsch. He is survived by: his cousin Bernard Goertz; and his siblings, Irene, Helen, Lucille, Mary Rose (Ann), Elmer, William and Bernadette (Marcella).
