Wayne DeYoung Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne DeYoung of Georgetown, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Wayne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wayne farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Visker Smith and Cecil DeYoung; his stepfather Wayne Smith; and his brother Roger DeYoung. He is survived by: his wife Diana DeYoung of Georgetown; his sister Susie Smith of Tracy; and his children, Dawn Vigil of Waco and Donnie DeYoung (Lauri Ann) of Jarrell. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 nieces and 4 nephews.
