He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee and Allie Garrett Chaudoin Wood; his wife Vivian Louise Homesley; his sisters, Helen and Dellia; his parents-in-law, Earl Homesley and Imogene Bode Homesley; and his brothers-in-law, Robert "Buzz" Homesley and Wayne Homesley.

He is survived by: his sons, Eric Wood (Tonia), Owen Wood (Nancy Gilliam) and John Wood (Shannon); his grandchildren, Madeleine Wood and Caleb Wood; his great grandchild Evelyn Wood; his siblings, Clara Crain (Lusty), Angelene Vaughn (Billy), Howard Wood and Vivian Wood; and his siblings-in-law, Debi Ramirez (Willie) and Tom Ed Homesley.
