She was predeceased by: her daughter Liz Rich; her brothers, Bill Jones and Clifford Jones; and her grandson David McCartney. She is survived by: her husband Bill Melton; her son Allen McCartney (Stacy) of Gholson; her son-in-law Jimmy Rich; her grandchildren, Alysha McCartney, Holli McDow (Tim), Jason Rich (Clare), Amanda Straten (Nick) and Michael Trammell (D'Lynn); her great grandchildren, Alex McDow (Jaelyn), Adam McDow, Emily Rich, Hannah Rich, Mallory Trammell, Levi Straten and Rylee Straten; her great great grandchildren, Presley and Jayme McDow; and her sisters, Fay Sanders, Helen Wilde and Jenny Woodall. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Volunteer Ambulance and Gholson Volunteer Fire Department.
