He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Blaha and Elizabeth Blaha (Sklenarik); and his father-in-law John W. Darsey Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Blaha of Giddings; his children, Joseph of Giddings, Keith of La Grange, Michelle (Chris) of Giddings and Stacy (Jesse) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Makayla (Thomas), Joe-Joe, Ruby, Holley, Scarlett and Lukas; his sister Sandra of La Grange; his mother-in-law Mildred Darsey of Giddings; his aunt Kathryn Wesselski of Ganado; Lenora. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home - Giddings (3950 E Austin St, Giddings, TX 78942). A rosary will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church - PIN Oak (732 FM2104, Smithville, TX 78957).
