He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Hill and Mary Elizabeth Hill (Vickery); his wife Dovie Hill (Hammock); and his siblings, Tot Mitchell, Alonzo Hill Jr., Jean Campbell, Elizabeth Cissel and Wanita Bean.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy D. Hill of Maybank, Toni Nance of Giddings, Barcley (Pam Hill), Andrew (Linda Hill), Corbitt (Amber Hill), Regan (Kimberly Hill) and Kerry (David Devenport); and his grandchildren, Nichole (Roger), Caleb Nance, Ladonna Nance, Gloria Nance (River Shepard), Elizabeth Hill, Courtney Winterhill (Adam), Crystal Hill, Joshua Hill (Arazeli), Paul Hill (Megan), Meri (Robert Batkins), Renae (Ryan Thac), Mary (Christopher Kanevsky), Austin Busby and Jamie Carmichael. He is also survived by twenty-seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousin.
