He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kriens and Marguerite Kriens; and his sister Peggy Schroeder. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Smith Kriens; his daughters, Lili Kriens, Claire Hall (Patrick) and Megan Wise (Jerry); his extended family, Grayson Smith (Karen) and Mark Smith (Jeanette); his nephew Craig Schroeder (Shannon); and his grandchildren, Noah, Kate, Lexy, Chloe, Cullen, Tyler, Peyton and Cole.
Memorials may be made to the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Austin or to the charity of one's choice.
