She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Miertschin and Clara Miertschin (Kasper); her husband Terry Dowling; and her brothers, Larry Miertschin, Archie Miertschin, Ray Miertschin and Bernie Miertschin.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Frances Miertschin of Giddings and Marilyn Miertschin of Giddings. She is also survived by one niece; eight nephews, and numerous extended family.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin or to the charity of one's choice.
