He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Floyd Pierce Sr. and Ruby Estelle Pierce (Wyatt); and his brothers, Wiley Pierce Jr. and Garry Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Paula Pierce of Giddings; his children, Esther Cervantes of Minnesota, Victoria Pierce of Austin, John Hartranft (Debra) of Austin, Lance Hartranft (Angela) of Lexington, Greg Hartranft of Giddings, Chad Hartranft (Heather) of New Mexico and Steven Hartranft (Ashli) of Giddings; and his sister-in-law Gerry Sue Pierce of Houston. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
