Thomas leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Thomas’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Thomas will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Powell and Marjorie Powell; and his son Matthew Powell. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Powell; his daughter Holly Pruitt (Randy); his granddaughter Emily Curley (Austin Curley); his great grandchild Morgan Curley; and his sons, Mike Powell, Chris (Victoria Haltom) and Zane Roesch (Aurelia Moore).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - Giddings (600 Sunrise Ave, Giddings, TX 78942).
In leu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Giddings.
