He was predeceased by: his parents, Innes Watson Schwartz and Doris Alta Schwartz (Johnson); his wife Linda Darlene Schwartz (Zoch); and his son-in-law James Nicholas Sr.. He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Schwartz Jr. of Brenham, Sarah Shelton (Edward) of Giddings and Elizabeth DeMoville (William) of Austin; his grandchildren, William Schwartz III (Bianca) of Brenham, James Nicholas Jr. of Brenham, Doris Nicholas of Giddings, Innes Nicholas of Giddings, Gabriel Sanders of College Station, William Sanders of Austin and Annabelle Sanders of Austin; his brother Dennis Schwartz (Gerry) of Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Israel Schwartz, Carter Schwartz, Lydia Schwartz and Miriam Schwartz of Brenham.
