With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Innes Schwartz Sr. of Giddings, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Innes Watson Schwartz and Doris Alta Schwartz (Johnson); his wife Linda Darlene Schwartz (Zoch); and his son-in-law James Nicholas Sr.. He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Schwartz Jr. of Brenham, Sarah Shelton (Edward) of Giddings and Elizabeth DeMoville (William) of Austin; his grandchildren, William Schwartz III (Bianca) of Brenham, James Nicholas Jr. of Brenham, Doris Nicholas of Giddings, Innes Nicholas of Giddings, Gabriel Sanders of College Station, William Sanders of Austin and Annabelle Sanders of Austin; his brother Dennis Schwartz (Gerry) of Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Israel Schwartz, Carter Schwartz, Lydia Schwartz and Miriam Schwartz of Brenham.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home - Giddings (3950 E Austin St, Giddings, TX 78942). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Dallas - Ft. Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bastrop Bible Church (602 Pecan St, Bastrop, TX 78602).
